In 1924, John Frederick Nott set up a small shop fitting business, based upon traditional craftsmanship and competitive pricing.
The company grew, providing customers with everything from display cabinets and fitments through to wooden shop fronts for the retail industry, and during the war years manufactured wooden aircraft wings for the famous Mosquito aeroplane.
Still growing, JF Nott became the first company in the 1960s to introduce the open plan concept into UK offices.
A manufacturing heritage dating back over eighty years since his grandfather first set up in business, Mark Nott successfully continues the family tradition as Chief Executive Officer of J F Nott and the company still upholds its principles of;
